The Southern Ethiopia Regional State Governor Tilahun Kebede has urged that the leadership should go down to the lower structure and monitor and support the implementation of the ninety-day plan in the next three months. 

The regional state-wide leadership discussion forum organized around the next 90-day government and party work movement plan and future focus areas in the region was held in Wolaita Sodo town. 

The plan will be implemented based on the decisions of the second regular conference of the Prosperity Party and the directions set, the governor said. 

He said that the party should be strengthened in terms of operations and organization, create platforms for people-to-people dialogue, maintain peace in the region, ensure economic prosperity by focusing on initiatives, carry out people-oriented activities, and work to make Ethiopia a symbol of prosperity in Africa by achieving productive results in the plans set in each sector. 

The President also explained the implementation strategy and the role of the leadership to achieve the plan. 

He said that it is necessary to reach an agreement on the ideas to be planned, revise the plan, implement the revised plan, design strategies to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the plan, and prepare for next year's activities. 

The head of the regional Prosperity Party branch, Ato Gebre Meskel Chala, said that despite facing many challenges during the past years of change, the Prosperity Party has been able to turn problems into opportunities and work effectively. 

In particular, the leadership should focus on strengthening the unity of thought and action, according to information received from the regional president's office.
