In Uganda, Robert Kayagulani, the main challenger to President Yoweri Museveni, was given 48 hours to surrender to police from yesterday.
Kayagulani was given the warning by the president's son, General Muzi Kenerugaba, who is also the country's army chief, Africa News reported.
Robert Kayagulani is said to have gone into hiding following the disputed election.
Former activist and stage name Bobby Wine, Robert Kayagulani, has said that the election in which President Yoweri Museveni won was a massive fraud.
Kayagulani is understood to have refused to contest the election results, which he is seeking to have.
He is said to be pursuing alternative peaceful means of struggle.

The Nigerian army has freed 62 people held hostage by gunmen in the northwestern part of the country.
Five soldiers and a policeman were killed in the rescue operation, Africa News reported.
