The industrial and investment sector, in addition to creating employment opportunities for citizens, is believed to be a great foundation for the country's growth and prosperity, as it has achieved excellent results in replacing imported products.

 

Following the national transformation, it was stated that the regional government is working diligently to make Afar Region an investment hub by setting the direction and creating a favorable environment for the industrial and investment sector to bring about a positive change.

 

According to information from the regional head of state's office, in order to achieve this goal, the head of state, Haji Awel Arba, has invited the natives of the region as well as local and foreign investors to work in the region.

 

Following this, several factories are being built in the region; among them, it has been learned that some have reached the stage of being able to produce and have started working.

 

The region has fertile land that can be cultivated and is close to the sea, making it easy to export products. As a result, it has become a region of choice for many investors.
