It has been announced that the coal production plant which is being built in Tarcha city of Dauro zone at a cost of 5.2 billion birr will start working in less than two months.

Dawit Gebeyehu, Chief Administrator of Dauro Zone, told the Ethiopian Press Organization; There is a large mineral deposit in the zone. Coal deposits are particularly abundant. The chief administrator said that it is necessary to dream of this coal mine and benefit the country and the local community. He said that the factory is being built with a capital of 5.2 billion birr.

It also has its own contribution to alleviate the shortage of foreign exchange. He mentioned that washed coal is imported at high exchange rates. He said that 4.6 billion Birr has been spent on the factory so far.

The official said that the coal mine producer ET Mining will build a factory. He explained that the factory is going into trial implementation. ET Mining company's representative, his brother Tamtu, said; The factory is being equipped with the last essentials. It is also being torn.

According to his brother. The factory was started two years ago. Currently, the entire work is being completed and training is being given to the permanent workers at the factory. He will graduate and start work in less than two months after the trial works.
