Corruption that is causing public suffering must be addressed - Ato Mustefe Mohamed

 

Addis Ababa, Somali Regional State President Mustefe Mohamed said that corruption that is causing public suffering must be addressed. 

 

Somali Regional State senior leaders held a discussion on the decisions and areas of focus of the second regular conference of the Prosperity Party.

 

During the discussion, President Mustefe said that the leadership should play its role with greater initiative in the effort to strengthen the internal democratic system and build a strong state.

 

Stating that corruption that is causing public suffering must be addressed by modernizing the service delivery system and supporting it with technology, the President said that the reforms initiated in the public service sector in the region will continue to be strengthened. 

 

He said that the leadership should work diligently to take the achievements in agriculture, manufacturing industry, urban development and other fields to the next level.

 

The leadership has also instructed the party to monitor the implementation of the party's directions and resolve the problems encountered, and to fulfill its responsibilities effectively, according to information obtained from the regional communication department.
