The artist Tibebu Werkiye discusses his beginnings in music, his married life, his journey of self-discovery, his spiritual life, and his time with Seifu Fantahun. Born in Addis Ababa in 1973, he entered the world of music as a child.

 

He released his first album, "Alamarem | Alamarerem," in 1995, which garnered popularity and appreciation. His second album, "Mayaye | Mayaye," released in 1999, further established his reputation. Notable songs include "I Understand Now | Gebagne Ahune Gena," "Alamarem | Alamarerem," "Ligaba," and "It Was Nunoye Lesemu Nebeer Nuroyee."

Now Tibebu has opened his own church and serving there. This interview was done some 7 years ago on Seifu show.
