The total proceeds of one hundred and eighteen thousand dollars from the artist Mahmoud Ahmed appreciation event were donated to donor Mahmoud.

 #Ethiopia Proceeds from an evening of appreciation for veteran artist Mahmoud Ahmed in Springfield, Virginia, were attended by event sponsors, artists, partners and individuals today, courtesy of donor Mahmoud. It is blessed. 

Accordingly, the artist received $105,300 (One Hundred Five Thousand Three Hundred US Dollars) from ticket sales and event sponsors on Thanksgiving night. 

In order for Gash Mahmoud to lead a carefree, stable and comfortable life, this money collected from the US is deposited in a trust fund account that allows him to use it like a pension every month. 

In addition to this, EBS Television, the sole media partner of the event, will record and broadcast the event and pay 1,623,525 Birr (one million, six hundred and twenty three thousand five hundred) Twenty-five Ethiopian Birr) has been deposited by donor Mahmood. 

The total income is about 15.5 million Ethiopian Birr in current currency. 

 A certificate of appreciation was also given to the sponsors and associated organizations and individuals who contributed to the achievement of this goal. Gash Mahmoud also thanked the coordinators of the event and all those who participated in the event.
