The Phase 3 of the Jugel Heritage Corridor Redevelopment and Conservation Work is being carried out in a coordinated manner, said Harari Regional State Head of State Ordin Bedri.

Ato Ordin toured the corridor redevelopment work that has begun in the third phase of the Jugel Heritage Corridor.

The Head of State also said that tourism is one of the main economic sectors that are being implemented with special attention to building a diversified economy.

He also stated that they have recorded encouraging results in developing tourist destinations in the region based on this.

He said that the previous restoration and development work carried out by institutions and with the participation of the community without the government budget for the Jugel Heritage Corridor has yielded encouraging results.

He stated that the third phase of the international heritage development and conservation work of Jugel is being carried out in a coordinated manner, drawing on the lessons learned from the previous phases.

He added that the heritage development and conservation works will help attract foreign and domestic visitors and generate income by extending their stay.

The Head of State also stated that efforts will be made to complete the redevelopment work that has been started with quality and speed within the scheduled 2-month period, according to the regional communication affairs office.
