Corridor development enhances the beauty of Bahir Dar city and Lake Tana

The Minister of Revenue, Aynalem Nigusse, said that the corridor development has enhanced the beauty of Bahir Dar city and Lake Tana. 

 

The Minister and other senior federal and regional government officials visited the development works of Bahir Dar city.

 

The Minister stated that the corridor and other development works underway in the city have revealed the beauty of Tana and enhanced Bahir Dar's status as a tourist destination. 

 

The Commissioner of the Ethiopian Customs Commission, Debele Qabeta, indicated that they have observed that the development of the corridor and other development projects of universal importance in the city are being accelerated.

 

Ahmedin Mohamed (PhD), the Deputy Mayor of the Amhara Region, and the Urban Sector Cluster Coordinator and Head of the Cities and Infrastructure Bureau of the Amhara Region, said that the corridor development works that will change the face of cities in the region are being carried out with great attention. 

 

The city’s First Deputy Mayor, Ato Goshu Endalamaw, also said that the development of the Bahir Dar corridor is being carried out within the scheduled time frame. 

 

He said that the work is being carried out in a quality manner in conjunction with Lake Tana; he said that the first phase is being completed, EZA reported.
