182 thousand residents of our city who were paying house tax from 1968 to February 2015 have been paying the tax mentioned below only once a year for the house they own for the past 45 years.

Urban space is divided into three levels to facilitate payment, namely primary, secondary and tertiary.

1. Rental rate of urban land reserved for housing:-

- For the space size up to 500 per square meter, the fee for the first-class space was 0.06 cents per square meter, for the second-class space, it was 0.04 cents per square meter, and for the third-class space, the fee was 0.02 cents per square meter.

- The amount of space per square meter was 0.08 cents per square meter for first class space, 0.06 cents per square meter for second class space and 0.04 cents per square meter for third class space.

- For the area size of 1501 - 2000 per square meter, the fee for the first level allocated space was 0.13 cents per square meter, the fee for the second level allocated space was 0.10 cents per square meter and the fee for the third level allocated space was 0.07 cents per square meter.

- The amount of space per square meter above 2001 was 0.16 cents per square meter for first class space, 0.14 cents for second class space and 0.12 cents per square meter for third class space.

2. Rate of payment for workplace/commercial space

- The first-class site fee was 0.06 cents per square meter, the second-class site fee was 0.04 cents per square meter, and the third-class site fee was 0.02 cents per square meter.

3. Additional information

- Out of more than 800,000 house owners in our city, only 182,000 residents have been paying the above-mentioned payment rate.

- The city administration has only revised the price rate from the 1968 regulation to charge city space rent and house tax. Temenum is an improvement made by researching the current house price and market rate.

- Until now, the low and middle income residents of our city have paid their house taxes, but the residents who have big buildings and expensive houses in our city are not paying their taxes. Therefore, even if it is said that the payment should be stopped, since the low and middle income members of the society have paid, it is the high income resident of our city who will escape from the payment.

- We will inform the residents of our city about the updated tariff from February 2015 onwards.
