South Korean student writes his thesis by blinking his eyes

Jang Ik-su, a 37-year-old South Korean, has reportedly written his master's thesis by blinking his eyes.

Jang, who has been suffering from muscular dystrophy for several years, successfully completed his master's degree in social welfare education.

He is said to have written his thesis by using technology that uses his eyes to read and write, and then using it to type out tens of thousands of words.

He then typed each letter in the text by blinking his eyes, the South China Morning Post reported.

“Receiving a master’s degree is very meaningful,” Jang said, “but having my research paper recognized means even more to me,” he wrote on his Instagram account.

Jang also shares his efforts to accomplish various things in videos on his YouTube channel, drawing many comments that he is a true inspiration.

They say Jang Ik-soo’s experience is a testament to how technology can bridge the gap between people’s needs and their limitations.

Many agree that his success has been a source of inspiration and motivation for many.
