Cristiano Ronaldo Statue Unveiled in Times Square
#Ethiopia | A giant bronze statue of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has been unveiled in Times Square to mark what would have been his 40th birthday.
The 3.6-meter-tall statue, created by Italian artist Sergio Furnari, was unveiled by Ronaldo’s fans in attendance.
Ronaldo, the all-time leading scorer in men’s soccer, currently plays for Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr club.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus forward is said to be in top form despite his advancing age.
Ronaldo, widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, took his tally for the season to 23 with two goals in a 4-0 win over Al Nasr Al Wasl on Monday.
