Harari Regional State Cabinet deliberated on various issues and passed decisions

The Harari Regional State Council (Cabinet) discussed and passed decisions on various issues in its regular meeting.

 

The Council of State first deliberated extensively on the draft regulation to establish the Disaster Risk Management and Community-Based Support and Care Coordination Council, determine its organization and resource mobilization system.

 

It was noted that establishing a community-based support and care system would help respond to social and economic threats, enhance the capacity of the community to mobilize resources, eliminate the sense of guardianship and helplessness, and strengthen the culture of mutual assistance among the people.

 

The regulation was prepared due to the need to establish a community-wide support and care coalition that can sustainably assist and support citizens exposed to social and economic problems by coordinating and involving the regional community, civic associations, the business sector, and volunteers.

 

The Governing Council, after discussing the draft regulation in detail, passed a decision to approve it and put it into effect.

 

The Governing Council also discussed and passed a decision on other agendas, according to information obtained from the Regional Communication Bureau.
