Afar Regional State Governor Haji Awal Arba’s message of congratulations
****************************************
We would like to congratulate the entire Muslim community on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijra - Eid Mubarak
Eid is an annual event that returns with joy every year. Ibn al-Arabi, when talking about the name “Eid” (Eid), explains that it is because it returns with new joy every year and is derived from the word “Aad” (return).
Eid al-Fitr is a day of joy, solidarity, compassion, and respect that follows the blessed and glorious month of Ramadan.
Although the blessed month of Ramadan is limited in number, it is a great school where we can learn good deeds for our future lives; make good deeds a tradition and avoid bad deeds.
Help each other; Ramadan was a month of sharing and showing concern for the poor and orphans.
Although the month of Ramadan has passed, the doors of good deeds are not closed, so we should strengthen ourselves and encourage our brothers and sisters, engage in all fields of good deeds, and continue the lessons we learned in the school of Ramadan.
The Muslim community spends Ramadan, which is one of the foundations of Islam, by fasting, paying Zakat, and distributing Zakat to those who are concerned, and increasing good deeds.
In connection with Eid al-Fitr, Zakat al-Fitr is also given to the needy in accordance with the Shariah and shared in their joy.
Eid is a day of joy, not only in one house, but also in the neighborhood, in the neighborhood; By sharing happiness at the national level, we can double our happiness by sharing it.
We must always broaden our perspective, as isolationism and a narrow-minded view of things are always the opposite of shared happiness and shared progress.
We must establish a governing structure that strengthens brotherly bonds and solidarity.
This year's Ramadan, including the Iftar program held in Samara, attended by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, and the joint Iftar with the brotherly Somali people in Jigjiga and Samara, strengthened solidarity and paved the way for peace.
This journey of solidarity; empathy and hand-in-hand to climb the tower of prosperity, may all of us make our mark in the fields we are engaged in, from storytellers to story makers; We need to further improve our work culture to move from being helpful to being productive.
Since the graduates of the Ramadan school, who graduated on the first of Shawwal, are eager to do better work in the future, I respectfully ask them to continue their good deeds from the day of Eid. I sincerely wish the Muslim community a holiday of peace, health, blessings and happiness.
