Manchester United knocked out of the FA Cup

Manchester United were knocked out of the FA Cup on Tuesday night after a 5th-round tie against Fulham at Old Trafford. 

 

Fulham took the lead through Basi in the 45th minute, but Bruno Fernandes equalised in the 71st minute. 

 

The match ended 1-1 after extra time, and Fulham won 4-3 on penalties. 

 

Victor Lindelof and Joshua Zirkzee scored the penalties for Manchester United. 

 

Manchester United were the winners of the competition last season, and their only chance of a trophy this season is the Europa League.
