It was announced that adequate arrangements have been made for the safe celebration of Ketira and Baptism in Addis Ababa and Sheger city administration.

The Addis Ababa Peace and Security Administration Office and the Sheger City Administration held discussions with the security structures of both cities regarding the celebration of the Ketira and Baptism Festivals.

At the same time, the head of Addis Ababa's peace and security administration office, Lydia Girma, said that coordination is being done to ensure the peace and security of the two cities.

He recalled that due to joint efforts in the past, it was possible to celebrate the Demerara and Irecha public holidays without any security problems.

ESA reports that the security structures of both cities have made adequate preparations by taking the experience of the previous festivals so that the upcoming baptism festival can be celebrated peacefully.

Deputy Mayor of Sheger City, Guyo Gelglo, said that necessary arrangements have been made in coordination with Addis Ababa city to ensure that the festival can be celebrated peacefully.

Through discussions with religious leaders and youths, he stated that the festival is being celebrated in keeping with the religious tradition.

The residents of the two cities have also sent a message to the residents to contribute to the peaceful celebration of the festival.
