#Ethiopia The Ministry of Peace and the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church announced that they will work together on national peace building projects.

The Minister of Peace, Mr. Mohamed Adris, and the Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, His Holiness Abune Mathias, held a joint consultation on how to strengthen and maintain the peace of our country.

Patriarch Abune Mathias confirmed that the church will work more diligently and closely with the government than ever before.

He also appreciated the Minister of Peace for coming to the Patriarchate for acquaintance and discussion.

On his part, the minister called on the church to play its part in the development of the peace process and to find a lasting solution to the challenges of peace based on its experience in peace and state building.

He expressed the government's determination to always pay the price for peace.

For this, the Ministry of Peace has confirmed that it will work closely with all religious institutions and fathers, ESA reported.
