Famous Adey drama actress Roman just sang on her daughter wedding and the response was class.

This is my personal opinion

 I used to be one of those who advocated for Gigi's visit to Ethiopia, but now I've changed my mind. My love for her and for Ethiopia made me reconsider. How can we welcome her when our country is in turmoil? Are we going to pretend that everything is fine and celebrate together while our people are dying and suffering? How can we curse Ethiopia, the land of peace, with our own problems? Every morning we wake up to a different country, praying for a better day.

In our culture, we welcome guests with open hearts and warm hospitality. But is our house really ready to receive her? When Gigi enters her own country, will she cry tears of joy or tears of sorrow for what we have lost? "Adwa is today," she once said, reminding us of our proud history and inspiring our love for Ethiopia. But will we treat her with the respect she deserves, or will we just use her name casually?

I won't elaborate on all my thoughts, but I hope you can understand my perspective. As the famous poet Kuahayu Shibawu said, the name of singer Teddy Afro will not disappear from her mouth more than anyone else. Personally, I wish that Gigi will come to Ethiopia when our country is at peace and we can truly celebrate together. May God bless our country and heal its wounds, so that we can say "blessed days" once again.
