In the SUNCASA project, awareness training was given to nursery staff, foremen and experts on nursery preparation and maintenance.

It was pointed out that the main objective of the training is to enhance the capacity of nursery workers, experts and foremen.

It was also stated in the forum that this year alone, more than 2.5 million saplings are planned to be planted by Dredawa's local forestry and climate change authority.

At this time when the nurseries in each cluster and district are adequately prepared and things are more convenient than ever, the workers, experts and foremen of the nurseries should work together and continue to strengthen the results obtained in the recent planting and maintenance of the seedlings. Ymer said.

Ato Masresha added that the society should make a regular practice of taking care of saplings in addition to planting them. 

The director who thanked the administration for the all-round support, said that it was possible to achieve nationally recognized results in the work of the forest protection.

SUNCASA project coordinator Darje Abiti said that this project has achieved results in protecting Dredwan city from the risk of flooding and confirmed that extensive works will be implemented in the future.

The SUNCASA project includes green development, sapling care and forest protection, and building and increasing the capacity of professionals in the field is also a part of the project.
