Health facilities nationwide are providing services without interruption − Minister of Health Dr. Mekdes Daba

Health professionals are providing services to patients in health centers and hospitals nationwide without interruption in all areas, said Minister of Health Dr. Mekdes Daba.

 

The minister, who noted that services are being provided to both inpatients and outpatients without any interruption, expressed her gratitude to the health professionals who are serving their people.

 

However, she noted that service interruptions have been observed in a few teaching hospitals; she said that we have been able to resolve this problem by quickly restarting the service with senior doctors and nurses.

 

She noted that when professionals go to health facilities to provide services, some elements try to disrupt their work by creating chaos and threatening them; He said that necessary action will be taken against these entities in accordance with the law and the Health Code of Conduct. 

 

He mentioned that the Ministry will work to resolve problems arising in the health sector, including service quality and health professionals; he said that we will respond to our common questions through dialogue and find a lasting solution. 

 

He noted that discussions are currently being held at various levels for this; this will continue and be done at various levels, the Minister said.
