Ethio-Djibouti Corridor Management Authority Establishment Forum Completed

The Ethio-Djibouti Corridor Management Authority Establishment Forum, which began on the same day, concluded today. 

 

It was reported that extensive discussions were held at the level of the Joint Technical Committee on issues leading to the establishment of the Ethio-Djibouti Corridor Management Authority.

 

During the discussion, it was announced that various inputs were added to the bilateral draft establishment document and an agreement was reached to complete it within one month and prepare it for signature.

 

The forum concluded with the signing of the agendas agreed to work together during the two-day discussion and the issuance of a joint statement, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti.

 

The forum was attended by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Alemu Sime (PhD), the Minister of Infrastructure and Equipment of Djibouti, Hassan Hamoud, the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Djibouti, Mohamed Warsama, and other senior officials of the two countries.
