Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa City Administration Mayor Adanech Abebe inaugurated 3 bread factories and started their services.

 

In a message on her social networking page, the mayor said, "Today, we inaugurated and started service of 3 bread factories, which are more good news for the residents of our city."

 

He explained that the bread factories will play a big role in subsidizing the lives of low-income residents. He said that the factories will produce up to 1 million loaves of bread per day and will increase the daily bread production capacity of the city to 5.2 million loaves.

 

On behalf of the residents of the city, the mayor expressed her gratitude to Alkhair Bakery, Unity Bakery and Yonan Bakery who built and put into service the bakery factories in collaboration with Addis City Sub-city.

 

Similarly, 2 intake centers built in Lemi Kura sub-city have been inaugurated and opened for service.

 

Mayor Adanech Abebe stated that the number of food centers will reach 19 food centers in the capital city, and more than 32 thousand people will be fed.
