Religious leaders of different faiths, government officials, and other residents of the capital city, including Addis Ababa City Administration General Manager Ato Tolatu Yenen, as Deputy Mayor, participated in the cleanup campaign.
At the same time, Ato Tulatu Yeene said, the main purpose of the campaign is to show our solidarity to the people who are celebrating the festival by being present at the place besides cleaning.
ESA reported that the residents of the capital have been called on to do their part so that the festival can be celebrated in a way that shows solidarity while maintaining its religious content.
Religious leaders from various religious institutes have sent a message to all the people of Ethiopia for the 2016 Cross Festival.
