Last week, the Oromo Federal Congress Party (OFCO) inaugurated its new headquarters in Addis Ababa.

 

The former head office in Mexico was demolished due to the development of the corridor, so the new office has opened and started working in the vicinity of Kebena Square.

 

At this time, the chairman of OFCO, Professor Merra Gudina, gave a speech and said, "Our country is still in a big problem." 

 

He also stated that the problem of peace should be solved first. For this, he stressed the need to resolve the political problems that lead to war through dialogue.

 

"The desire of the Oromo people as well as the desire of other nationalities is to see lasting peace, a strong democratic system and an economically prosperous Ethiopia," he said. "In order to achieve this goal, OFCO and other opposition parties must strengthen their struggle," he said.

 

Various opposition party leaders who were present at the time said, "To solve the problem facing the people, we need to strengthen our alliance and continue together by lining up the people."

 

When OFCO launched its new head office, "there was a detailed discussion on the current situation in the country and the direction of the next struggle," and he said, "Accordingly, attention will be paid to save Ethiopia from the path of social unrest and collapse due to war damage, economic collapse."
