“We are implementing the sewage disposal system at a high level by enacting laws and regulations that were polluting the city and causing serious negative impacts on the health of the people,” he added.
They also noted that the community is implementing the laws issued to prevent pollution in order to create a clean Addis Ababa by preventing river pollution.
The mayor, who noted that the city administration is punishing entities that have not built and repaired their sewage disposal systems within the given time limit, said: “More than punishment, we want our people to implement the sewage disposal system and pollution prevention for their own health, so I call on all of us to make this effort.”
