Ethiopian Capital Market Authority extends filing deadline

 

#Ethiopia | The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority has announced that it has extended the deadline for publicly traded companies to submit required documents and information by one month.

 

In a previous statement, the authority had urged companies to submit documents and information by March 4, 2017. However, in order to receive requests and additional information from the companies, the deadline has been extended to April 1, 2017.

 

This extension is a last chance for companies that have not yet submitted the required information, and the authority urged companies to make good use of the extended period to submit the required documents and information.

 

The extension applies to companies with more than 50 shareholders and currently offering shares for public sale.
