Addis Ababa, December 13, 2022 The Industrial Parks Development Corporation signed a contract today with three indigenous companies that want to work in the industrial parks.

 

It has been stated that the corporation is working in the 13 industrial parks it manages by bringing in many local and foreign manufacturing companies.

 

In particular, it was pointed out that the flow increased after the signing of the peace agreement and that more than 20 companies were signed.

 

Today, a lease agreement was signed with Gumsa Trading Pvt. Ltd., Suji Liana Doyo Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. and Impact Painting and Graphics.

 

Aklilu Tadese, CEO of Industrial Development Corporation, signed the agreement with the three companies.

 

According to the executive during the agreement, it is important to work with local companies to make our own production of domestic products and export our products to the foreign market, as well as to exchange experience with international manufacturing institutions, to transfer technology and to make our industries competitive at the international level.

 

It was pointed out that the three local companies that signed the contract today have registered a total investment of more than 11.4 billion birr.

 

It is said that they will create permanent and temporary jobs for more than 600 people.
