Ethiopia committed to completing WTO accession process on schedule - Job Tekaleng (Dr.)

Ethiopia is committed to completing its WTO accession process by March 2026, said State Minister of Finance Job Tekaleng (Dr.). 

 

A high-level dialogue on the WTO accession process between Ethiopia and Uzbekistan was held on the sidelines of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Annual Spring Meetings in Washington, DC. 

 

The dialogue was organized by the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund. 

 

The forum was attended by WTO Managing Director Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, World Bank Vice President for Eastern and Southern Africa Ndiame Diop, and IMF Deputy Director for Strategy Ken Kang.
