Comedian Eshetu Believes Parents Should Be Very Careful About What They Speak, Hear And Do IN Front Of Their children.
Farmers from different areas said that the wheat in Awale village has given them great hope.
Model farmers, leaders and agricultural experts from 13 kebeles and the leaders of the four clusters visited the wheat field in Awale.
The visit was organized by the Bureau of Agriculture, Water, Minerals and Energy, and according to Elias Ali, the deputy head of the Bureau of Agriculture, Water, Minerals and Energy, who attended the field visit, the field visit was carried out in Awale and Geodagudun Feta Rural Kebele, which is being implemented on 68 hectares of farmland in the next season of irrigation. He said that Angbo was prepared with the aim of expanding on 265 hectares of land in various rural kebeles under our administration.
Ato Elias added that since the community thinks that wheat does not grow in this area, their opposition that we only plant sorghum on our land is a big challenge for them when starting this work.
The farmers who participated in the exchange of experiences said that till now we have not seen wheat being produced in the Kola area, but today we have seen it in practice.
They said that since we did not expect our land to produce wheat and we are used to growing only sorghum, we were very happy to see wheat grown on our fields.
The farmers also said that the wheat in Awale village has given them great hope.
Taking from today's experience, we will sow wheat on the land we have, said Mr. Abdi Nure, the head of Wahil cluster, who said that he learned a lot from the visit. Before, we did not expect wheat to grow in the Kola area, but now we hope that we will be able to sow wheat in the short period of time and help not only ourselves but also others.
