Activities to build a common discourse are underway - Ministry of Peace

The Ministry of Peace announced that activities to build a common discourse are underway. 

The ministry stated that activities that involve the community are being carried out to ensure positive and lasting peace. 

He also indicated that community-based discussions will be held in seven clusters in different parts of Ethiopia under the theme "In my area, about my country". 

He also indicated that training of trainers has begun to conduct the discussions. 

State Minister for Peace Building and National Reconciliation, Ministry of Peace, Keiredin Tezera (PhD), said: "The aim of the discussion is to enable the community to build a common discourse and develop a culture of discussion by discussing local and common national issues." 

The discussion will further strengthen the process of solving problems at every level, with the resources available in the discussion, and the community will work closely with the government to solve them. 

The training is being provided in cities in different regions. 

The ministry also announced that more than 30 million different segments of society, including communities from all segments of society, are expected to participate in the community-based discussion. 

Information from the ministry shows that community discussion facilitators from all regions, zones and selected districts, leaders of peace and security offices of regional and city administrations, experts and community representatives will participate in the discussion.
