Ethiopia is expected to inaugurate its number one national project by September.
It was recently reported that the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, which has been under construction for 14 years, is almost complete.
The downstream countries, mainly Egypt, which opposed the construction during the 14 years of construction, have been taking the issue to the Security Council and the Arab League.
Although the tripartite negotiations between Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan are ongoing in all three countries, they have not yet reached an agreement; however, the construction of the dam is nearing completion.
