Haramaya University College of Health and Medical Sciences graduated 453 students
Addis Ababa, September 21, 2022 Haramaya University's College of Health and Medical Sciences graduated 453 health professionals in its 25th round of graduation ceremony.
Among them, 175 are medical doctors and the rest are trained in other health and medical sciences.
Among the graduates, 26 percent are women and two female students were awarded medals by scoring 3 points and 99 points.
Harari State Governor Audreen, who gave job instructions to the graduates, called upon the graduates to serve their communities responsibly and sincerely in the fields they have studied.
It is also stated that the college has produced 16 thousand 500 health professionals since 1988.
During these years, it is known that he has contributed more than 2 thousand research works to the society.
It was also announced that this year's graduates provided free medical services worth 1 million birr in East Hararge zone including Harare and Somali regions.
The College of Health and Medical Sciences is currently teaching 2 thousand 1 undergraduate and 1 thousand 79 postgraduate students.
