Yergalem Hospital Medical College inaugurated an oxygen production plant

The Head of Government of Sidama Region, Sadta Ledamo, and the Minister of Health, Dr. Mkedes Daba inaugurated the oxygen production plant of Yirgalem Hospital Medical College.  

The factory can produce more than 190 per day in a 50-liter cylinder of oxygen; It is said that it will provide services to Yergalem Hospital and nearby government health institutions.  

It was also pointed out that the start of the plant's operation will enable the hospital and nearby health facilities to provide better services by satisfying the oxygen demand.  

At the same time, the head of state, Deshta Ledamo; He said that if it is not pre-emptive, improvement of medical services is being done extensively to be able to cure the disease.  

The Minister of Health, Dr. Mqdes Daba, said; He said that 45 oxygen factories have been established by government and private institutions nationwide and are providing services. 

Dr. Mkedes Daba stated that the government is working hard for access to the service, especially given the importance of oxygen to save patients. 

It has been stated that more than 86 million Birr has been spent on the construction of the factory by the Ministry of Health.
