Reverend Belina's funeral was performed

 

Addis Ababa, December 12, 2022 The funeral of Reverend Belina Sherka was held at Petros Wopaulos Protestant and Catholic Cemetery in Addis Ababa.

 

The funeral ceremony was attended by family and friends, senior government officials, religious leaders, monks and other guests.

 

It will be remembered that the priest died on November 27, 2015 after receiving medical treatment for his illness in Lina Sherka.

 

Reverend Belina Sarka has been a minister of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church, Mekene Jesus, for more than half a century, according to his biography.

 

The leadership of the church and the parishioners have expressed their deep sorrow over the loss of a diligent and faithful servant who had a long history of service in the church.

 

The mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abebe, who attended the vaccination program, said that Reverend Belina was a father who sowed good seeds in the next generation, taught them to love, respect and work when they were given on earth.

 

Reverend Belina remembered that by living what he said in his life, by standing for the truth, it is possible to change and that the price of the truth should be paid.

 

He pointed out that by learning from him, we should stand with truth, togetherness and perseverance.
