Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed inaugurated and opened the agricultural exhibition

Addis Ababa, April 29, 2015 (FBC) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed inaugurated and opened the agricultural exhibition organized by the Ministry of Agriculture at the Science Museum.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the science and agriculture exhibition organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and partner organizations at the Science Museum under the theme "From Laboratory to Harvest".

As the Prime Minister said at the same time, "We need to increase the productivity of the land we have".

He mentioned that modernizing agriculture will help to meet the demand, and said, "We need to improve and modernize our work regularly so that it benefits the country by adding value to our resources."

Prime Minister Abiy said that the change that is happening in the agriculture sector is promising and invited everyone to come and visit the exhibition.

Various agricultural products and technologies were displayed in the exhibition.

It was also stated that the goal of the exhibition is to show the footprint of the country's agricultural system and the direction of agriculture through the digital revolution.

The opening of the Agricultural Science Exhibition was attended by other senior government officials and other stakeholders, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tagese Tafo.

It is also stated that the exhibition will be open for public viewing for consecutive weeks starting from April 30.
