Tele Birr is moving 7 billion birr per day
Addis Ababa, March 29, 2017 (FMC) Tele Birr is making a significant contribution to the development of Ethiopia’s digital economy, Ethio-Telecom CEO Frehiwot Tamiru said.
According to the CEO, Tele Birr is recording significant growth in both the number of customers and the services it provides.
He pointed out that Tele Birr is currently moving 7 billion birr per day, which is a significant role in the development of the digital economy.
He said that Tele Birr is providing cutting-edge services by creating new applications and processes.
He also stated that many works have been carried out related to cyber security to ensure that Tele Birr provides efficient and reliable services.
The CEO noted that Ethio-Telecom is playing a significant role in Ethiopia's economic and social development and inclusiveness.
