#Ethiopia | Haile Selassie I planned to stop at Agaro while traveling to Bedle from Jima.  They also ordered a smaller palace to be built for them to stay in for a day. A day-stay villa was built on top of the town. The Emperor crossed Agaro without stopping at that villa and continued his journey.  There is no satisfactory reason given beyond mere speculation as to why the emperor did not allow him to rest in that palace. One of the kicks is said to have been "because her dog was uncomfortable."

Few people know about the existence of this historic Agaro Palace.  Today, when we heard that her dust was cleared and she was qualified for a visit, our feet headed for the mountain.  Breathing in the natural air that is loved by the smell of coffee, we rested our eyes on the ancient city....  This palace is one of the heritage that is sold as a tourist attraction.

As a number of media professionals, we happened upon Jima for one issue. We headed to Agaro when we finished inaugurating Hailey Resort, which is an added beauty to the city.  When we got to this coffee-growing town, we didn't find her as old and grumpy as usual.  She took off her old and dirty clothes and dressed us in new clothes. The ancient city is surrounded by greenery, its appearance is attractive from afar, its smell is attractive. For those of us who already know her, the fact that she doesn't count years at most, but months, has become a matter of concern for us.  The sun never sets on its makers. 

The comparison is not too far from now when calculated by the hour. "Horrible" was the word that described the scene two years ago. Road is an important factor for the development of a country. The road that was built during the time of the emperors was not a reminder that it looked like a toy. 

It's joked that you need to be a circus pro, not just long enough to drive on the strip without flipping over. Agaro road, which is the country's foreign exchange potential due to coffee production, is now comfortable and beautiful for drivers.  The partner who had left her, picked her up and looked at her.  It is usually called corridor development, but what we have noticed in the city is a radical change. The old was destroyed and a new city! People who visited us told us that not a penny was taken from the government coffers to make Agaron a beautiful, clean and comfortable city for its residents.  There is no better testimony than to see with our own eyes that the resident has proven the energy of getting up with ideas, not math. It seems that they have inherited the secret of rising from zero to their current heights from Singapore.  From there we learn that the growth is in the head, not the swollen pocket. Singapore was zero when the 1980 treaty with Malaysia was forcibly torn up. It was a country that had no real wealth. The secret behind Malaysia's downward spiral is turning knowledge into wealth.

All it takes is determination to get a wealth of ideas off the ground. The Agaro people, who should have been raised for development, did not say anything when the question was presented to them. He didn't even want to ask for the compensation he deserved.  He accelerated his growth with his passion and drive to change.  That sounds like good advice that can serve as an example to others. The act gives a great understanding that it does not take much to wash away even the dirty stains of history if citizens are made to think well.  

He did not want to return without visiting Agaro and visiting Shashan. After a few drives with the newly paved asphalt, we were fine. After visiting it on foot, we went to the newly built school and were offered milk. Fresh milk that has just been milked. We took a photo for a souvenir and headed back.
