#खेना The baptism festival is being celebrated by the followers of the Orthodox Tewahedo religion in Dredawa administration.

Baptism is one of the most celebrated holidays in our administration. It is given a great place among the followers of Christianity.

 

Mr. Gebeyehu Tilahun, the representative of Dredawa administration and the head of the mayor's office, who attended this year's baptism ceremony, delivered a congratulatory message.

 

The festival began to be celebrated yesterday by escorting the coffins to their lodgings and passed the night with various religious ceremonies and mass.        

 

After the baptism and other religious events are held from dawn, the shrines will be accompanied by the spiritual and cultural scenes of the pilgrims and will return to their respective parishes.

 

The Archbishop of Dredawa Diocese and member of the Holy Synod, Blessed Abune Bartholomew, Reverend Pastor Senai Hailemariam G/Michael, General Manager of the Diocese, administrators of churches and monasteries, as well as senior government officials of Dredawa administration, religious leaders and lay people were present at the ceremony.
