Ethio Telecom is playing a leading role in realizing the Digital Ethiopia 2025 transformation.

Minister of Innovation and Technology Bele Mola (Dr.) advised Ethio Telecom CEO Frehivat Tamru on issues that can be worked together to accelerate Ethiopia's digital transformation.

 

The minister stated that Ethio Telecom is the country's pride and symbol; He stated that he is playing a leading role in the Digital Ethiopia 2025 transformation journey. 

 

He also announced that the institution is achieving impressive results in digital services and Telebr.

 

He also pointed out that he will work in coordination on sectors that can benefit citizens by increasing the accessibility and inclusiveness of digital services. 

 

For his part, Ethio Telecom's chief executive Frehivat Tamru said; He said that Ethio Telecom is carrying out multifaceted activities to achieve the journey of Digital Ethiopia. 

 

Officials of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology visited the Ethio Telecom Experience Center and confirmed that it has built a huge capacity to make sectors such as agriculture, education, health, industry, mining, transportation, finance and tourism effective, including the Smart City project. 

 

The information obtained from Ethio Telecom also indicates that the institutions have reached an agreement to work closely by creating a permanent joint platform to accelerate the transformation of Digital Ethiopia.
