Ethiopia is working to increase its exports to China - Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Ethiopia is working to increase the products it exports to China through international strategic partnership.

 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Misganu Arga, received and spoke to a delegation led by the Ethio-China Friendship and Cooperation Committee.

 

In his consultation, Ambassador Misganu Arga emphasized that Ethiopia and China have a strong cooperation relationship that dates back centuries.

 

He said that by raising this relationship to a global strategic partnership, Ethiopia is working to increase the products it exports to China.

 

They explained that they are planning to export agricultural and manufacturing products to China on a large scale by strengthening the relationship in the field of trade and investment.

 

Zhou Junjun, chairman of the Ethio-China Friendship and Cooperation Committee, said; He said that the committee is promoting the favorable investment environment in Ethiopia to allow Chinese investors to come and invest.

 

According to the information obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they have brought a delegation of 22 members and 10 of them have said that they are interested in engaging in the Ethiopian market.
