The 25th Laureus Awards are currently taking place in Madrid, Spain; Real Madrid have won the 2025 Laureus Club of the Year Award.

 

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been named Laureus World Player of the Year.

 

Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has won the Laureus Sports Icon Award.

 

Simone Biles has been named Laureus Sportswoman of the Year for the women's category, while Kelly Slater has won the Laureus Lifetime Achievement Award for the men's category.

 

Kick for Life, a Lesotho charity that uses sport for good, has won the Laureus Sports for Good Award for the year.

 

In the men's category, pole vaulter Mundo De Platini has won the Laureus Sportsman of the Year award.

 

The 25th edition of the Laureus Awards will recognize winners in seven categories.
