The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank has announced that it will support energy development projects in Ethiopia. 

 

The high delegation led by the Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide, discussed with the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Jin Likun, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. 

 

It is known that the discussion focused on infrastructure financing and future directions of cooperation. 

 

President Jin Likun also stated that the bank will support energy projects in Ethiopia. 

 

The Ethiopian Airlines Group has reached an agreement to work closely on how to financially support the huge airport that will be built in Bischoff. 

 

At the same time, the high delegation headed by the Minister of Finance had a discussion with Remy Rioux, Director General of the French Development Agency. 

 

In the discussion, Ethiopia and France reached an agreement to further strengthen their bilateral cooperation in financial provision and other sectors.
