 "If we have the knowledge and the desire, if we think we can, disability does not stop us from anything. Disability is not a physical deficiency, but a lack of knowledge. A human being should be measured by his knowledge, not his body," she said.

Dr. Adlawit Badula was born in the city of Harar and grew up in the city of Dredawa.

She attended her primary and secondary education in different schools in Dredawa. She joined Haramaya University's College of Health and Medical Sciences and completed her education by achieving good results in the national exam.

She says that my upbringing, my family, my friends, my teachers and other people around me have a big role in my strong belief that I can do it. There's no reason why anyone can't be what they want to be, but it takes confidence and perseverance.

It is appropriate to listen to yourself and distinguish between what you can do and what you can't do. Dr. Adlawit said that medical education in particular is full of ups and downs and requires perseverance, but I was able to overcome it with strength because of my can-do spirit. She also said that she will make good use of all the opportunities in life.

"In the medical profession, I saw the nature of life and death and I was confused. A person must know death to know life, and when he understands what life is, he does good things and thinks good things," she said.

Dr. Adlawit, who says that she was able to see the public's health awareness during her practice-oriented education, shared her opinion that there is little awareness of health care and that it should be well worked on.

Then she said, "Medicine is a profession that can really help people, and in the future, it is my desire to serve as a proper doctor who respects the ethics of the society that taught me." she promised.
